**Cab Crane Operator (1st Shift)

** $22.50 - $23.50 / hour (Based on experience and cab crane test)

** to join our 1st Shift team in Youngstown.

**Position Summary

**

We are urgently hiring a dedicated Cab Crane Operator to safely and efficiently move heavy materials and components through our manufacturing facility. This role is critical to maintaining our production workflow and upholding our high safety standards.

**Please Note:

** We are strictly looking for candidates with dedicated

**cab crane

** experience. Standard floor-operated overhead crane experience alone will not qualify you for this position.

**Key Responsibilities

**

• Safely operate a cab-controlled overhead crane to lift, move, and position heavy industrial equipment and components.

• Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure safe crane operation.

• Rig loads effectively and securely using chains, slings, and shackles.

• Coordinate closely with ground crews, fabricators, and supervisors using clear hand signals and verbal communication.

• Adhere to all company safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and plant guidelines.

**Qualifications & Requirements

**

• **Proven experience operating a Cab Crane is mandatory.

  **

• Must pass a practical cab crane operation test as part of the hiring process.

• Strong understanding of weight distribution, rigging techniques, and hand signals.

• Excellent spatial awareness and a deep commitment to workplace safety.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

• Reliable transportation and an excellent attendance record.
