We have an exciting opportunity in our Guymon, Oklahoma, processing facility for a sanitation services lead position. In this highly impactful role, you will be one of eight management leads in the sanitation services department, which is responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing activities for production lines in the harvest and/or fabrication areas of the plant. This position assists supervisors in leading a team of up to ten (10) employees who perform sanitation activities to ensure the plant is cleaned and sanitized to achieve high levels of cleanliness according to the Company’s and USDA’s standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists supervisors to ensure adequate inventory of sanitation supplies, equipment, and chemicals are available for employees to clean and sanitize the facility to the required level.
- Aids the sanitation team, including training on processes to ensure a high level of performance and adherence to sanitation protocols.
- Assists management in ensuring documentation and records related to sanitation activities, including cleaning schedules, inspection reports, training records, and regulatory compliance documents.
- Stays current and up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sanitation management as well as communicating all changes to Company policies and protocols to employees.
- Promotes safe work practices, follows GMPs, maintains sanitary conditions, and ensures that product quality is not impacted by the activities of the sanitation services department.
- Informs supervisors of any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality, or personnel safety.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in food science, environmental health, public health, or a related field or equivalent or experience in a food manufacturing facility. Work experience in industrial sanitation in a food manufacturing facility is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation regulations, including those specific to the protein industry.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with sanitation management software and MS Office applications.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility and primarily will be on the production floor.
- The employee must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- This position is primarily on the production floor and will have limited office time.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
- The noise level in the work environment requires you to wear hearing protection at all times on the production floor.
- The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
