PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industryto hire a highly skilledProduct Repair Techniciansupporting theC-17 Globemaster III. Position Overview

Location:Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA

Schedule:Monday–Friday | 1st & 2nd Shift (assigned based on experience and business needs)

Duration:12-Month Full-Time Consultant Role

Pay Rate:$47.78/hr ($42.69/hr + $5.09 Health & Welfare)

In this role, you’ll perform advanced repair, modification, and maintenance work on complex aircraft systems—ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence for one of the most critical airlift platforms in the world.

What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)

• Assemble, disassemble, modify, and repairaerospace systems and components
• Troubleshootpneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systemsto identify and resolve faults
• Perform and overseesystem testing, validation, and verification
• Configureaircraft systems and test equipment
• Inspect completed work to ensureflight worthiness and compliance standards
• Document repairs, test results, and modifications in alignment withregulatory and contractual requirements
• Review and interpretengineering drawings and technical specifications
• Supporttraining activitiesand contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Maintain strict adherence tosafety practices, including working at heights with fall protection

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and4+ years of related experience(or equivalent combination of education and experience)

• Minimum3+ years of experience:- Working at heights withfall protection equipment(225 lb limit)

  • Reading and interpretingengineering drawings and technical documents
  • Identifyingsafety risks and hazardous conditions
  • Performingrepair, maintenance, and retrofit work

• Ability to passGround Operations Personnel (GOP)and respirator physicals

• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working onC-17 aircraft platforms

• Knowledge oflive aircraft operations and multi-system maintenance, including:- Pneumatic, hydraulic, structural, electrical, and propulsion systems

• Ability to interpretUSAF Technical Orders and C-17 blueprints

• Experience inhigh-paced, schedule-driven environmentswith strict quality standards

Pay Details:$47.78 per hour
