SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

Procure products, materials, services, supplies, commodities, tooling, or sub-tier manufactured parts relevant to FMI business. Work closely with technical staff and program management to make procurement decisions.  Explore cost reduction and delivery improvement opportunities.  Participate and execute to purchasing related projects.

• Maintain follow-up responsibility to ensure commitment dates are held for open orders
• Work with Receiving, Quality, Engineering and Accounting to resolve discrepancies and issues.
• Prepare and deliver to supplier Purchase Orders based on buy signals such as Purchase Requisitions, Min/Max inventory, etc. 
• Maintain accurate documentation and records, confirm commitments to areas supported, notify areas supported of change of status in a timely matter.
• Work with receiving, quality, Engineering an Accounting to resolve discrepancies and issues. 

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of experience
• Previous ERP System experience preferred
