1) Manage Procurement commodities for Pittsburgh and Houston plants : suppliers management, strategy definition & deployment.
The strategic buyer will be in charge of negotiating supply agreements for all commodities in these 2 plants
She / He will set up the Procurement organization and align with key stakeholders
She / He will lead the continuous improvement initiatives including cost reduction implementation, suppliers performance improvement
She / He will take all the necessary initiatives to manage supply risks including obsolescence management, resourcing, redesign
2) Lead local scalability plans:
The lead buyer will be also in charge to manage the scalability of the ACS and NM business
Negotiate global contract with the key suppliers, including a capacity management roadmap
Establish a global strategy short/medium/long term and identify the strategic suppliers for the business
Define & deploy obsolescence strategy
Lead the program of cost reduction for ACS and NM across the company
5 years minimum experience in strategic sourcing. A knowledge in electronics and injection molding commodities would be a plus
Capability of execution in a changing environment
