NVR has a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys collaboration, problem solving, system design and being an agent of change.   We are looking for someone that likes to get their hands into the technology!  As a Systems Analyst at NVR, you’ll be a key member of the Technology Team partnering with our business to optimize, support, and deliver strategic enhancements to systems that support our mortgage & settlement services team.  Come join us and start your journey with one of the best performing home building companies in the world. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide the system and technical knowledge to enhance and support business applications
• Collaborate with both business and technical leaders to ensure system design meets both functional and non-functional requirements.  
• Writing and supporting reports and integrations using tools such as SQL Query, SSRS and SSIS 
• Execute on-boarding of new SaaS/COTS applications, including actively participating in the ideation and due diligence process
• Collaborate with technology teams, internal and external, to optimize application performance
• Manage relationships with business users and the software vendors to support application change and stability
• Produce and maintain application design and support documentation
• Follow NVR established Project Management Procedures, including approvals, release management, and project updates
• Mentorship of junior staff

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL, SSRS and SSIS experience
• 2+ years in SaaS implementation and configuration 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to work at varying levels within the organization, as well as with external supplier executives
• Strong self-management skills and ability to work in an environment that embraces cross-functional collaborative team driven results
• Sound knowledge of system design patterns and principles

Nice to Haves

• 3+ years of software development experience (VB, C#, .Net)
• Experience Microsoft suite of citizen development tools (Power Platform)
• Business Knowledge in Mortgage, Settlement Services and/or Accounting
• Proficient in technical writing (Test scripts, Functional/Technical requirements, etc.)
