We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver software services on a ServiceNow platform. The analyst will be responsible for requirements management, system testing and validation, and business process modeling.

Required Skills and Education

A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of eleven (11) year’s relevant experience required. 

Requirements Management:

  • Elicit, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements through stakeholder requirements discovery sessions.

  • Create and maintain detailed system requirement specifications and user requirement documents

  • Support traceability matrices to ensure alignment between business needs, system capabilities, and test plans.

Business Process Modeling:

  • Map current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) business processes.

  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and system automation opportunities

  • Collaborate with process owners to validate workflows and ensure alignment with strategic objectives and functional requirements

System Testing and Validation:

  • Develop system and user acceptance test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria

  • Coordinate and execute functional, regression, and integration testing efforts

  • Assist in defect triage and resolution with development teams

Programmatic Status Reporting:

  • Assisting in preparing and delivering regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to project stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans

  • Track deliverables, milestones, and resource allocation using project management tools

Stakeholder Collaboration & Support:

  • Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, technical architects, and developers

  • Ensure stakeholder needs are translated into feasible, scalable system designs

  • Support change management and training efforts by delivering process documentation and end-user materials
