Job Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer I within Supplier Quality you will be engineering review of drawings and related documentation to determine appropriate quality requirements for purchased parts.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Assisting in resolution of requests from suppliers and buyers on supplier quality requirements and approved supplier issues.
Working closely with members of supplier quality, supply chain, program quality and engineering to address issues preventing material procurement.
Creation and publishing of supplier quality performance metrics / data. This will include analyzing supplier defect and performance data to identifying trends, key drivers and opportunities for improvement.
Coordinating with incoming inspection on disposition of nonconforming material provided by suppliers.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Preferred major in Systems Engineering
Previous work experience, electrical or test engineering experience preferred
Demonstrated ability in developing solutions to issues using an organized systemic approach
Experience developing and analyzing data, using the information to understand current state and predict future performance.
Experience with SAP

Onsite in Andover, MA or Tucson, AZ
Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
