The Business Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day administrative, bookkeeping, accounting, and financial operations at B&A Precision in Milford, CT, working in close collaboration with leadership teams at both B&A Precision and its parent company, Talon Precision. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), performing financial reconciliations, supporting payroll processing and employee time tracking, maintaining accurate data in B&A Precision's ERP and accounting systems, and helping manage customer relationships and communications.
Qualifications
Foundational understanding of accounting, finance, budgeting, and performance metrics relevant to manufacturing or industrial environments.
Strong business operations and operations management skills, with experience coordinating activities across multiple functions.
Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
Experience in program management, project coordination, or managing cross-functional initiatives is a plus.
Experience in manufacturing, precision machining, or related industrial sectors is highly beneficial.
Effective communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
