The Role

This role serves as the primary commercial driver for these offerings, with a strong focus on direct end-user sales and the opportunity to explore OEM and strategic partnerships in parallel.

NorLink enters the market with an initial foundation across pricing, positioning, and sales materials, while relying on this role to actively refine and evolve those elements through real-world customer engagement.

This position is designed for someone who thrives in early-stage commercial environments and takes ownership of identifying opportunities, engaging customers, and advancing deals.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the full sales process, including discovery, product demonstrations, proposals, and deal closure
  • Engage customers in technical and value-based discussions around Industrial IoT and condition monitoring
  • Support pilot programs and help convert pilots into paid subscription deployments
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, product, and leadership teams to ensure successful customer onboarding
  • Contribute market feedback to help refine messaging, positioning, and pricing over time
  • Represent NorLink Solutions at select trade shows, industry events, and customer sites

Success in This Role

Within the first 6–12 months, success will typically include:

  • Building a healthy pipeline and advancing qualified opportunities through a repeatable sales process
  • Launching initial pilots and converting early wins into recurring subscription deployments
  • Establishing a strong feedback loop into product and marketing to sharpen positioning and sales assets

What We’re Looking For

This role is best suited for a candidate who:

  • Has 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in industrial, technical, or SaaS-related markets
  • Brings technical credibility and can explain hardware-enabled SaaS solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Has experience managing complex sales cycles and engaging multiple customer decision-makers
  • Is comfortable operating with ambiguity and taking initiative in a new product environment
  • Has a strong internal drive and sense of ownership for outcomes
  • Experience with Industrial IoT, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, or industrial equipment markets is strongly preferred

Compensation

This role offers a competitive compensation package that includes:

  • Base salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience
  • Incentive compensation: Performance-based commission structure tied to sales outcomes

Total on-target earnings are designed to be competitive for experienced sales professionals and reflect both near-term contribution and longer-term growth potential.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
  • Ability to verify identity and employment authorization (Form I-9)
  • Eligibility to access information or technology governed by U.S. export control laws (including 10 C.F.R. Part 810, EAR, and/or ITAR), where applicable
  • Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with applicable laws
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screen in accordance with company policy
  • Ability to meet the posted work schedule and travel requirements
  • Ability to maintain reliable attendance and professional conduct aligned with company values

What’s In It For You?

The Foundation

  • Competitive compensation package with base salary and performance-based incentive plan
  • Comprehensive medical, vision, dental, and life insurance available day one
  • Generous paid time off with rollover each year
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
