We are seeking a driven and commercially focused Business Development Manager to join our NZ team and take ownership of a designated region. This is a hands-on, region ownership role focused on revenue growth, customer relationships and exceeding targets.

About the Role
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for both new business development and account management across NZ. You will build strong relationships with new and existing customers, deliver exceptional service, and drive profitable growth across all aspects of the business.
This role includes the sale and handover of new access equipment, developing service and identifying opportunities across ground support, used equipment, inspections and parts.
What You’ll Do
Develop new business through prospecting and cold calling
Manage and grow existing customer accounts
Increase profitable service & maintenance contracts
Sell across new machines, used equipment, inspections & parts and used machines
Prepare quotes, follow up opportunities and close deals
Maintain CRM accuracy and provide sales forecasts
Manage equipment handovers and customer demos
Represent the business at industry events
What You’ll Bring
Proven B2B sales experience with a track record of exceeding targets
Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
Experience using CRM systems
Highly organised with strong follow-through
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Current driver’s licence
Industry experience in access equipment, EWP, materials handling, forklift or construction is highly regarded.
