Location: Overton Industries – Tool & Die Division [Mooresville, IN]

Type: Full Time – Salary Plus Commission

Reports To: Sales Manager

Are you a dynamic, results-driven sales professional with a passion for manufacturing, machining, tool & die, or production stamping? We’re seeking an established Manufacturing Sales Executive to lead our efforts in driving new customer growth and expanding our footprint in the industry. If networking, customer development, and building long-term relationships excite you, this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your skills and make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities within target markets and industries
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their manufacturing needs
  • Present and promote our manufacturing, machining, tooling, or production solutions to prospects
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets related to new customer acquisition and revenue growth
  • Network actively within industry events, trade shows, and online platforms to generate leads
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to tailor solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and track all activities in our CRM system [Pipedrive]
  • Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product development and marketing strategies
  • Potential to oversee existing customers that have growth opportunities, partnering with Project Managers who oversee the day-to-day business.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven success in manufacturing, machining, tool & die, or production stamping sales
  • Strong network within the manufacturing industry and experience developing new customer relationships
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and persistent in pursuing new business opportunities
  • Ability to understand technical products and communicate their benefits effectively
  • Must be comfortable with regular travel requirements
  • Flexibility in occasional remote work can be offered once goals are consistently met. Until that time, the expectation is to be in the office when not traveling.
