POSITION

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager.

SCOPE OF POSITION

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business

opportunities, building relationships with clients, and expanding the company's market presence. They develop and

implement sales strategies, manage the sales process, and may also be involved in market research and forecasting.

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Develop & execute sales strategies.
• Identify and plan Target Account strategies.
• Monitor & investigate competitive activity and trends within region.
• Conduct market research
• Collaborate with other Business Development Managers on large bids to identify best placement of business
• Manage large accounts as directed by Director of Sales
• Identify accounts where revenue may be shrinking and formulate strategies to address this.
• Maintain prospect lists and leads using productive technology tools.
• Utilize appropriate CRM tools to organize and communicate all selling activity.
• Proactively service customer accounts to achieve business goals around the service metric
• Remove barriers to entry prospects through creative and value-added selling techniques and principles.
• Communicate appropriate suggestions to improve the business, tactics, products, and strategies.
• Assist with marketing activities as directed by management.
• Create & maximize barriers for our competition to entry to our customers & prospects.
• Develop technical skills to help with specific customer processes & products.
• Follows all SQF requirements and General Manufacturing Practices.
• Other duties as assigned
