Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA) is PepsiCo’s beverage manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit in the United States and Canada.  This position will be part of the North America Beverage organization. 

PepsiCo Foodservice is a division of PepsiCo that brings the company’s entire portfolio of food and beverage brands to market in out-of-home consumption channels to meet consumer needs at work, at play, and on the go. 

The Business Development Account Manager for Foodservice will use superior cold-calling skills to generate new business and drive share growth for the following customers: Restaurants and Recreation & Retail accounts. Their primary focus will be to drive acquisition of prestigious single and multi-outlet customers across dual markets. This individual will also be responsible for leading long-term strategy and execution to gain market share within their geography.

  • Acquire new Restaurants and Recreation & Retail accounts via leads, cold-calling, and other strategic selling solutions

  • Focus on single outlet & local key account (2-25 outlets) and prestige customer acquisition for Beverages

  • Work on building a new business sales pipeline; working with new lead tools and initiatives

  • Activate local and sector new business initiatives, programs, and tools to accelerate acquisition

  • Develop industry expertise in each business segment around consumer preferences and market share

  • Drive long term relationships with new business partnerships and internal cross-functional teams
     

    This role utilizes a base/commission pay structure and as such has strong earning potential with no cap.


    Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected salary range is $ 81000 - $ 117400.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
  • Other benefits, subject to elections and eligibility:  Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health, and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Previous fact-based selling experience

  • Proven track record of closing new business wins

  • Strong financial acumen

  • Food Service or consumer packaged goods experience preferred

  • Successful candidates will be highly motivated and organized individuals who possess a strong desire to win

  • Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically

  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States

  • Must have a valid driver's license

  • Safe driving record strongly preferred
