Job Overview:

Provide business support to the Defense Manufacturing and associated Programs. Responsible for day to day of capital management projects and process, including reporting, visibility, and communication to leadership. Support broader team in workforce planning, risk management, metric anal and general project management.


Major responsibilities include

  • Managing all business requirements that support the capital management process.
  • Establishing and managing the cadence, reporting performance and maintaining the communication plan for multiple priorities
  • Perform collection and documentation of project scope and cost for estimating
  • Partner with and provide input to business development team to conduct full business case analysis.
  • Develops, aggregates, and assists with leadership review and approval.
  • Summarizes key actions and monitors/reports progress to plan for leadership review
  • Monitors execution of the plan and communicates status to all project participants.
  • Help with analysis, tracking and quantifying of risks, issues, & opportunities
  • Compile data for resource and budget planning


Required Skills

  • BA degree and/or 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Business degree preferred Masters Degree and/or 3-4 years of relevant experience
  • Active DoD clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Advanced MS Office Suite, Excel, Power Point Cross-functional project management
  • Ability to prioritize requests from multiple sources and support requirements
  • Self-motivated; taking ownership of projects and issues, including follow through to closure and resolution
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Great attitude and willingness to learn
