Candidates will be interviewed for a General Laborer 2nd Shift position. Available departments include the Pack Room and Grind Room. Final placement will be determined upon hiring based on business needs.
Grind Room Laborer: 4pm to 2am M-F + Weekends as needed
Pay Rate: $21.69 + 1.00 of shift differential/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supplies meat to the Grindroom from the meat receiving coolers using a pallet jack, inspects and grinds product, and removes pallets and trash from the Grindroom. Operates a metal detector belt and auger while working with food processing equipment and following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Must be able to learn and perform multiple positions with training provided, work in temperatures ranging from 40–50 degrees and as low as 32 degrees in the cooler, and operate an electric pallet jack with in-house training. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive tasks, and carry out physical activities such as standing, walking, pushing, lifting, bending, and stepping up and down. Basic math skills are required, along with the ability to fill in for other plant positions as needed, with additional pay provided for higher pay grade roles, and to perform any and all duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Pack Room Laborer: 4:30pm to 2:30am M-F + Weekends as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs repetitive tasks associated with packaging meat products, including inspecting product quality, assembling boxes, filling bags with meat, sealing and weighing bags, and may palletize products by hand. Assists with coordinating and running a food processing line while operating food processing equipment and following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Must be able to learn and perform multiple positions with training provided, work in temperatures ranging from 40–50 degrees and as low as 32 degrees in the cooler, and operate an electric pallet jack with in-house training. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive tasks, and complete physical activities such as standing, walking, pushing, lifting, bending, and stepping up and down. Basic math skills are required, along with the ability to fill in for other plant positions as needed, with additional pay provided for higher pay grade roles, and to perform any and all duties as assigned by a supervisor.

• 6 months of work history
