OVERVIEW

The Building Maintenance/Shop Helper will primarily be responsible for working diligently to keep the shop organized and clean and assist mechanics with shop jobs when necessary.

MAIN DUTIES:

• Will work diligently to keep the shop organized and clean
• Seek to assist mechanics with shop jobs when necessary
• Unload delivery trucks as needed
• Seek to keep shop supplies stocked
• Will complete small jobs at the request of the Shop Manager and Branch Manager
• Make certain industrial batteries are kept on charge
• General maintenance and housekeeping

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess a dynamic parts/warehouse background
• Organizational skills a MUST
• Mechanically inclined
• Experience safely operating lift trucks
• Forklift Operator Certification
• Strong Communication, interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow procedures as well as take initiative
