Responsible for maintenance, repairs, and support of facility maintenance.
REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Completes and responds to all assigned work orders, troubleshooting calls, and emergency maintenance calls.
- Performs repairs and facility support tasks including but not limited to, carpentry, painting, drywall, electrical, plumbing, tile, production equipment and move/install office furniture as needed and in collaboration with Building Maintenance team members.
- Assists with coordinating various vendor communication (i.e. for HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Facility Maintenance).
- Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment logs.
- Assists with vendor/equipment manufacturer-proposed preventative maintenance requirements and schedules are developed into standard operating procedures (SOP’s). Ensures corresponding forms/logs are written and training is completed, to ensure safe and efficient equipment availability/operation. Informs Quality Control if calibration is needed.
- Assists with coordination of resources and third-party suppliers for proper execution of building projects.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Aware of and complies with the RWMIC Quality Manual and regulations & requirements as they apply to this job type/position.
- Completes all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned by the US Head of Human Resources, Building Maintenance, and IT Infrastructure.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent, and minimum of 1 years’ experience in building maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills within all levels of the organization.
- Good time management skills, ability to prioritize workloads, and organizational skills.
- Intermediate PC skills in all major MS office suite products.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations preferred.
- Experience with and understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to work within this environment is crucial for successful employment
