Building Maintenance Technician

Location: Sandwich, IL

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

We are currently seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join our team in Sandwich, IL. This is a hands-on position preparing and maintaining construction office trailers for customer use.

Job Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare construction office trailers
• Perform general repairs and maintenance
• Install and repair trim, flooring, and tile
• Repair walls, roofing, and other interior/exterior components
• Replace or repair tires and perform additional maintenance as needed
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous construction, maintenance, or general building repair experience required
• Knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and stand throughout the workday
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendancey.
