We are hiring a Building Maintenance Manager for our new mixing center and Gordon Restaurant Market stores in the Denver, CO market!
Pay: $90-95,000 annual base plus 20% bonus potential

Position Summary:
Directs the safe, cost-effective, and efficient operations of Gordon Restaurant Market Mixing Center and Restaurant Market building maintenance, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance of applicable mechanical and electrical systems, building conditions, mobile equipment, ASRS, hydraulic and refrigeration systems.
Essential Functions:
Prepares and executes department plan.
Maintains and develops a group of 3rd party contractors to support ongoing maintenance
Collaborates with management and other department heads to plan preventive maintenance programs and to schedule inspections and major overhauls in coordination with other operational activities.
Confers with DC99 and other internal resources to resolve problems in the installation and operation of equipment.
Review inspection and repair reports and observe the progress of work on major overhauls to evaluate efficiency and work quality.
Monitors and directs the repair of machinery and electrical or plumbing systems.
Prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
Review spreadsheets related to maintenance (energy tracking, recycling, metrics, and action incentive, etc.) targeting abnormalities and improvement opportunities.
Ensures compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) Standards.
Maintains a warehouse safety culture following the policies outlined in the Operations Safety handbook and monitors warehouse safety according to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards (U.S.) or Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) standards (Canada) as well as any other regulatory standards such as Environmental Protection Agency (U.S.) or Canadian Standards Association, Environmental Canada (Canada) as well as others.
Collaborates with other Warehouse & store Leaders to achieve goals and Key Performance Indicators.
Works together with other warehouse leaders to achieve company-required food safety standards.
Attend 3rd party audits (AIB, PHA, Mechanical Integrity, and Compliance).
Works with the Director, Store Managers, and Manager of Construction & Facilities to develop AOP and manage budgets and variances to budgets, and capital projects.
Manages mixing center & store projects; acquiring bids, scheduling contractors, project timelines, and submitting the necessary paperwork.
Review technical papers, catalogs, GFS Standards, and other resources to determine supplies and maintenance methods to improve warehouse operations.
Conducts departmental meetings to communicate team results and Corporate initiatives.
Completes personnel evaluations and reviews.
Works to develop Maintenance Leadership and acts as a mentor and resource.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Ability to develop and manage fixed labor budgets, utility budgets, repair expenses, and building budgets.
Ability to develop and manage capital projects.
Understands and ensures compliance with GFSI food safety standards and expectations.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills, organizational and problem-solving skills
Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment.
Must be able to help in the identification of problems with mechanical equipment.
Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance.
Must have the ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints including electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, refrigeration, etc.
Employees in all warehouse & store positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse & store), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during operations.
