Contract Position - Day Shift

Summay of the Building Maintenance position:
Repairs and maintains mechanical, HVAC, and electrical equipment as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Building Maintenance position:
- Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment in the manufacturing area for malfunctions
- Dismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem area
- Replace light bulbs inside as well as outside of building, including parking lot area
- Starts machines and equipment to test operation following repair
- Repairs broken parts
- Moves office walls and furniture, as needed
- Performs light duty work on company vehicles
- Performs light duty work on Hi-Lo's
- Performs maintenance on the building (fix windows, doors, floors)
- Performs light duty on HVAC system
- Inspects overhead cranes daily
- Understands and follows corporate safety and environmental rules. Inclusive of wearing PPE and completing mandatory training
- Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
Education and Experience Requirements of the Building Maintenance position:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
