Duties: (Essential Functions)

• Responsible for basic upkeep of the station, including but not limited to painting, minor structural repairs, minor plumbing, cleaning, etc.
• Coordinate ordering and deliveries of janitorial supplies.
• Maintain paper supplies in restrooms and kitchens.
• Monitor fire extinguishers and sprinkler system on a regular basis.
• Advise Director of Technology of major repairs or maintenance needed.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to drive in order to deliver recyclables to appropriate locations.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must climb ladders on occasion.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Technology.
• Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls
• Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones
• Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed
• Remove debris and snow from sidewalks
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Keeping an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies

Other Duties:

• Comply with all Station and Department policies, procedures and guidelines.
