**Job Title: Building Engineer - Level 1

**

**Hours: M - F 6am - 2:30pm

**

**Location: Emeryville CA 94608

**

**Duration: 1 year (Potential to convert to FTE)

**

**Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances:

**

• Candidate will be working over 2 locations, laboratory research buildings
• Client facing role

**Team Overview:

**

• Some independent work and will also work with the chief engineer

**Resource's typical working day:

**

• First 6 weeks will be intense trainings
• Work order management
• Vendor management
• Shipping and receiving

**Must Have Skills:

**

• General maintenance skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Nice to have skills:

**

• HVAC experience
• Electrical experience

**Soft Skills:

**

• Highly professional attitude
• Good customer service skills
• Willingness to learn

**Years of Experience:

**

• 1-2 years

**Education

**

• H.S. diploma or GED

**Software skills:

**

• Basic computer skills

**Interview Process:

• 1st round phone screen, 2nd round in-person with a site tour
