Our expertise encompasses the full spectrum of system technologies from pneumatic - hydraulic control systems to state-of-the-art programmable solutions to chemical injection systems, and everything in-between.

This is a full-time Building Automation Tech position with benefits in Maurice, LA. The candidate will be required to meet and discuss projects with engineers and customers. The candidate must be able to comprehend drawings and specs and comfortable with closing deals. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the Building Automation Controls industry and be able to install, commission, troubleshoot, program and maintain building automation systems.

Requirements

• Install, program and startup building control systems.
• Program other control systems as required.
• Provide customer support as needed.
• Troubleshoot and wire low voltage circuits.
• Travel to client sites to perform work.
• Complete necessary paper work Support sales and engineering team Other duties as needed.
• Must understand and be able to wire low voltage circuits and be somewhat familiar with BAS Programming.
• Troubleshooting systems and issues that arise.
• Have a good understanding and technical knowledge of HVAC equipment.
• Have a good understanding understanding and technical knowledge of building automation systems.

Skills Required

• Training on Siemens or Distech Automation systems a plus.
• Working experience with other building automation vendors (Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Allerton, Automated Logic, etc. Tridium).
• Microsoft Windows operating system(s).
• MS Office Applications.
• Read and understand P&IDs and general process specifications.
• Plant wide and package control system architecture.
• Safety within control system application.
• Strong/ clear written and verbal communication skills with internal team members and external clients.
• Self-motivated with desire to work autonomously.
• General terminology within the Oil and Gas industrial sector, others sectors are a plus.
• Read and understand control system wiring diagrams.

Experience

• 3+ years experience working with BAS/HVAC Controls systems
