Building & Machine Maintenance Technician – Level A

1st, 2nd & 3rd Shifts Available

Pay:

• Base Pay: $24.93/hour
• 2nd Shift Differential: +$2.00/hour
• 3rd Shift Differential: +$2.50/hour

Are you an experienced industrial maintenance technician looking for a stable career with competitive pay? We are seeking a skilled Building & Machine Maintenance Technician – Level A to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic control systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues using measuring and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, and general facility repairs.
• Fabricate, weld, braze, and repair machine components as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Assist with new equipment installations, machine improvements, and facility projects.
• Build machine guards and install safety devices.
• Document preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment costs.
• Support production by minimizing equipment downtime and improving machine reliability.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial maintenance experience is required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical controls, and facility maintenance.
• Ability to weld and braze.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, machine tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Forklift experience or ability to become certified.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to lift 30+ pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
