About the Role
We are seeking a Skilled Assembler to join our growing team in Germantown, WI, specializing in the production of high-quality industrial dehumidifiers. This hands-on position involves mechanical and electrical assembly, working with a variety of tools and components to build larger cabinet units, fans, and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble large cabinet components, fans, and related mechanical structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools including wrenches, drill drivers, wire cutters/strippers, hole saws, knockout punches, and caulk guns.
- Run and label wires in a clean, organized manner according to schematics.
- Terminate wires at panel terminal blocks, sensors, motors, and electrical components.
- Measure and check assemblies for squareness, alignment, and fit.
- Verify accuracy and quality of builds before final testing and packaging.
- Work with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments on assemblies as needed.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in mechanical or electrical assembly preferred.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, square, etc.).
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools listed above.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
