Build & Quality Technician (Kiosk Assembly/Warehouse)

Location: Greenville, South Carolina 29607

Hourly Rate: $17+

Schedule: 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday AND 7:30am - 2:00pm on Fridays

Job Overview

We are seeking a versatile Build & Quality Technician to support both kiosk assembly and warehouse quality control operations in Greenville, SC. This hands-on role combines mechanical assembly, basic technical troubleshooting, incoming and outgoing quality inspections, and general warehouse support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, active environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble interactive kiosks according to technical specifications and work instructions.
• Install and integrate components such as screens, PCs, and printers.
• Perform PC imaging when required.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and escalate unresolved problems to the supervisor.
• Complete commission sheets accurately and thoroughly.
• Follow safety procedures when using tools and equipment.
• Conduct incoming quality checks (IQC) for damage, quantity, and specification compliance.
• Perform in-process and outgoing quality checks (OQC) before dispatch.
• Raise and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) within required timeframes.
• Maintain accurate quality records and support ISO 9001 compliance efforts.
• Investigate quality issues and support corrective actions (CAPA).
• Process returned goods according to company policy.
• Verify purchase orders and book stock into the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Pick and pack orders accurately to meet shipping deadlines.
• Operate material handling equipment (MHE) if certified.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counting and systematic put-away.
• Maintain 5S standards and follow health and safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse environments.
• Hands-on ability with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical components.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform inspections and maintain accurate records.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with WMS, NCR, and CAPA processes is a plus.
• Candidates who are comfortable in a consistently active work environment and exposed to both cold and heat frequently.
