JOB TITLE: Breaker Assembler 

POSITION SUMMARY: Use of mechanical and electrical drawings. The position involves hands-on mechanical work using many different tools and equipment in a safe and productive manner. An Assembler is responsible, but not limited to the following: Construction and Quality of a core and coil assembly and associated tanking procedures. Prep tank and cover, insert unit, install and connect internal and external accessories, and adjust to proper clearance. Process unit for testing and prepare for shipping. Keep work area safe, neat and clean. Complete all processing and check sheets as required.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT: Various hand tools, cranes, forklifts, power tools, hydraulic equipment, air tools, hot oil systems, vacuum pumps, scaffolding, ladders, battery powered lifting equipment and other tools as required.

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, hands and arms, feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb ladders; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. 

Education: High School diploma or GED

Training: On the job.

Physical efforts and skills: Moderate to heavy physical exertion.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

Employees are expected to wear ANSI approved steel toe safety shoes and safety glasses. Other personal protective equipment as required.
