Job Overview:
- Set up and operate CNC and/or manual brake press machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and specifications.
- Measure and inspect parts to ensure conformance to required tolerances.
- Select proper tooling and machine settings for various bending operations.
- Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections.
- Work with a variety of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and galvanized steel.
- Maintain production efficiency while ensuring product quality.
- Identify and report equipment, material, or quality concerns.
- Assist with material handling and organization of work areas.
- Keep workstations clean and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and customer expectations.
