The Director of Branded Sales will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the Del Monte fruit product line and the supervision of the Branded Sales Manager team. This role requires a proven track record in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) branded sales, a focus on brand equity, national pricing architecture, and market share growth. The successful candidate will lead the team in executing sales objectives, managing broker performance at a national level, and ensuring the newly acquired Del Monte brand thrives under PCP stewardship.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of Branded Sales Managers, ensuring they meet volume and revenue targets in their respective territories.
  • Develop and execute the national sales strategy for the Del Monte brand, defining channel priorities and go-to-market plans in the Core Retail Grocery space.
  • Oversee the national pricing structure and trade spending budget. Ensure trade dollars are deployed efficiently across specific geographic regions and markets to drive profitable growth.
  • Manage the high-level relationship with national broker agencies, holding them accountable to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensuring the Del Monte brand is prioritized.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Operations teams to translate sales data into accurate production forecasts and pack plans.
  • Participate in “top-to-top” meetings with major national accounts to close high-stakes deals and annual contracts.
  • Serve as the primary voice of the Del Monte brand within Pacific Coast Producers, coordinating with Marketing, Finance, and Logistics departments to resolve challenges.
  • Manage the department budget, including travel and promotional spending.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of sales experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods sector with a Branded food products background preferred.
  • Proven experience managing branded food products.
  • 3+ years of direct supervisory experience leading a sales team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or management, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to speak confidently to executive leadership and large groups.
  • Attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
  • Humility, punctuality, responsiveness, everyday professionalism, and quality work
  • Ability to travel significantly (30-50%) to work with field teams and attend key industry events.


Compensation

$175,000 to $250,000 per year (DOE); profit-sharing bonus-eligible. This is a full-time, exempt, remote role with up to 50% travel.

Note - The base salary range reflects the reasonable expectation for what Pacific Coast Producers anticipates paying for this role at the time of posting. The actual salary offered will depend on factors including, but not limited to:
