As the Brand Manager of Jack Daniel’s Spirit-based Ready-to-Drink (RTDs), lead the U.S. marketing strategy and execution across the portfolio in one of the spirits industry's most exciting and fastest-growing categories. This role will be critical in accelerating the business to increase market share and shaping the future innovation roadmap for Jack Daniel’s Spirit-Based RTD Portfolio. Effective leadership and consumer insight will be crucial in influencing the marketing mix. A key aspect of the role will be collaborating with Coca-Cola Red Tree Beverages on the Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola RTD portfolios.
What You Can Expect
Lead the development and execution of the annual strategic marketing plan that aligns with long-term brand strategies. Accountable for crafting, presenting & implementing the Annual Business Plan with our Coca-Cola Red Tree Beverage partners.
Manage brand budgets and P&L, demonstrating financial acumen and accountability for achieving business results, especially with partnership agreements.
Lead development of briefs and manage the agency of record from diagnostics to strategy development to execution and evaluation.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive brand growth and achieve business objectives.
Champion innovation and new product development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market.
Lead strategic planning & oversight of paid & owned media:
Communications strategy oversight: Lead and coordinate all paid and owned media channels to support annual communication and business goals, including lead role on communications brief development; remit includes paid media, influencer, eCommerce, email/CRM, social & website
Guided the adaptation, creation, and oversight of creative advertising and content strategies to ensure the right content is on the right platform, for the right consumer, and at the right time, including owned and eCommerce properties.
Communications Performance Lead: Oversee investment performance, measurement, and annual brand learning agendas, to ensure alignment with communications goals and drive accountability to paid & owned media investments
Jack Daniel’s Spirit-Based RTD Brands: Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola RTD portfolio, Jack Daniel’s Honey & Lemonade, Jack Daniel’s & Ginger, and future RTD innovation.
What You Bring to the Table
Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years experience working in marketing and/or brand management in the Spirits, Beverage or Consumer Packaged Good Industry.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term brand strategies.
Leadership Skills: Build and develop key partnerships within the strategy while influencing, inspiring, and motivating team members to achieve common goals.
Presentation Skills: Effectively presenting and communicating ideas to senior management and stakeholders.
Financial Planning and Management: Advanced budget management skills, P&L accountability, revenue management, and business performance forecast.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams across the organization, including sales, finance, operations, and R&D.
Innovation and New Product Development: Ability to identify market opportunities and lead the development of new products that meet consumer needs.
Ability and willingness to travel 35-40% of the time, including some weekends
