Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set-up brake press tooling
• Operate and maintain brake press machines
• Complete brake press machine maintenance and preventative maintenance by complete maintenance request forms
• Complete all required safety and quality checks and measurements
• Adhere to all Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
• Meet shift objectives by ensuring efficient and safe operations
• Assist in implementing lean manufacturing initiatives to improve production efficiencies
• Other duties as assigned

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-5+ years experience in set-up, operation and maintaining of Brake Press machines (Cincinnati Brake Press a strong asset)
• Ability to complete a change over with minimal to no assistance
• Flexibility on shift times and overtime as required
• Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Forklift experience a strong asset

Job frequently requires handling objects with hands, standing, walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically
