Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of finished products.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on brake press equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes.
• Document production data and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Brake Press Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of brake press operations and metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
