We are looking for Brake Press Operators to join our Greenwood, IN facility for** 1st or 2nd shifts**. You will set up and operate brake press to form parts in accordance to the blueprint specifications and work instructions.
What You’ll Do:
- Reads and interprets blueprints and work operations sheets to determine appropriate operations to be performed
- Completes forming responsibilities which may include offsets, large radii and standard bends
- Uses inspection gauges such as calipers (both dial and vernier), micrometers, squares, and height gauges to perform quality checks on parts as outlined by AQL and work instructions; reports dimensional problems to supervisor or set-up person.
- Maintains and ensures accurate counts on completed parts and scrapped parts
- Completes production paperwork and makes required entries into company data base
- Maintains tools, measuring instruments, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
- Reports all equipment problems or malfunctions to supervisor/manager immediately; and maintains clean, orderly and safe work areas at all times.

What You’ll Need:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year of related experience and/or training
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Mathematical skills to manage units of measure, fractions, decimals, whole numbers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets to determine set-up and operations to be formed
- Ability to set-up and operate Brake Press machine, input and maintain data in Traverse Manufacturing System
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
