Brake Press Operator

Pay: $19.00/hour

Location: Addison, IL

Shift: Must train on 1st shift, then transition to 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 1:00 AM, Monday-Thursday)

We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operators in Addison, IL. This position involves operating a press brake machine to bend sheet metal into specified shapes and sizes. Ideal candidates will have experience working with blueprints and CNC equipment, as well as a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints to understand required bends and part specifications

• Set up the press brake with appropriate tooling, settings, and material alignment

• Operate the press brake to perform precise metal bending

• Inspect and measure finished products for accuracy and quality

• Troubleshoot and maintain the press brake to ensure proper functioning

• Follow all safety protocols within the manufacturing environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating a press brake, including setup and troubleshooting

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Knowledge of quality standards related to metal bending

• Experience with Cincinnati ProForm 175 Ton x 12' CNC Press Brake is a plus

• Willingness to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift
