POSITION SUMMARY

The Class B Driver- Non CDL will be responsible for operating a company vehicle to deliver material between plants and customers. This is a local route, Monday-Friday with overtime available.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS **

• Ability to safely operate a 26' straight truck for the transportation of material, finished goods and other equipment as needed
• Required to manually load and unload the delivery truck using a pallet jack or forklift
• Verify that all equipment is loaded safely for each building or customer
• Receive the deliveries, obtain signatures, and confirm the accuracy of the deliveries
• Deliver returned or picked up items back to the warehouse
• Inspect vehicle for any wear, report unsafe conditions to supervisor
• Ability to use scan guns to properly track material movement.
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM SKILLS AND ABILITITES

• 3 years of Class B driving experience.
• Class B required.
• Delivery driver must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Delivery driver must be able to effectively communicate with customers/ supervisors / and employees.
• Delivery and warehouse experience preferred.
• Conditional offer upon Motor Vehicle Report

MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Sedentary position
• Ability to travel by various public and private transport methods.
• 20/20 vision required with or without correction.
• Use of hands 100% of the workday.
• Ability to stand or walk 25% of the workday.
• Twisting, bending, leaning frequently during the workday.
• Office environment, occasional exposure to loud noises, dust, solvents, coolants, and oils.
