Job Description

Receive general instructions verbally or written from supervisor and/or lead man and written instruction from drawings, blue print or standard operating procedure.

Operate hand tools such as air nail gun, stapler, electric drill, and air drill.

Assemble boxes to meet specifications from drawings or blue print or standard operating procedure.

Performs routing and repetitive assembly operations and processes.

Maintain a work area in a clean and orderly fashion and conform to all quality and safety procedures.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Generally requires knowledge of basic shop math, to include adding, subtracting, multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions. Ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram. Ability to read and translate measuring instruments and shop drawings. General knowledge of company policies and procedures. Ability to operate fork trucks.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

**While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; stoop; crouch; bend and reach above shoulders. Typically requires a high school education or equivalent and less than a year of experience.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
