Location: Alvin, TX

Job Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire

Shift: 1st Shift (8AM-5PM)

Pay Rate: $18 - $22/hr, depending on experience

Are you an experienced Bottling Technician with a strong focus on high-speed bottling or packaging? PrideStaff is seeking a skilled professional to ensure the optimal performance of small bottle filling lines for our client in Alvin, TX. The ideal candidate has proven, hands-on experience operating and maintaining equipment on a fast-paced production bottling line.

Key Responsibilities

The Bottle Technician will be responsible for both operating and ensuring the upkeep and reliability of all equipment associated with the small bottle filling and packaging lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Line Operation: Execute daily bottling runs, monitoring the line for flow, speed, and precision to meet production targets.
  • Equipment Configuration: Perform technical changeovers and setups for different bottle sizes, labels, and product specifications.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and basic repairs on fillers, cappers, labelers, and conveyors to minimize downtime.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet standards for fill levels, seal integrity, and label placement.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical hiccups in real-time to keep production moving smoothly.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all OSHA and company-specific safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or bottling environment (preferred).
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical skills; comfortable using hand tools and navigating machine interfaces.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Attention to Detail: A "sharp eye" for identifying defects or equipment malfunctions.
