Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Boiler Technician to join our industrial maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of high-pressure steam and industrial boilers, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. Your expertise will help maintain reliable boiler systems that support our facility’s operations, contributing to a safe, efficient, and productive environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about mechanical systems and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor high-pressure steam boilers and industrial boiler systems to ensure continuous, safe operation.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of boilers and associated mechanical equipment.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and control system diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Conduct repairs on boilers, including welding, mechanical components, valves, gauges, and piping systems.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and operational logs.
  • Collaborate with building automation systems (BAS) to optimize boiler performance and energy efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using engineering principles and equipment manuals to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with industrial boilers, including high-pressure steam boilers and related mechanical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and control system diagrams accurately.
  • Skilled in welding, equipment repair, and mechanical systems maintenance within an industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and industrial equipment operation is preferred.
  • Experience in field service environments with a focus on industrial maintenance is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to engineering troubleshooting and equipment repair.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members and clients alike.
