This position will report directly to the site Plant Engineering Supervisor responsible for the Lexington, Burlington, and Plymouth MA Locations.  Collectively, these sites make up a total of approximately 260,000 GSF within business park settings.  The position will be based out of the Lexington, MA site, located at 2 Forbes Road. This site consists of 22 acres, which supports one primary building totaling approximately 96,000 SF, housing approximately 160 employees. The Lexington Site provides support to three different business areas utilizing general office space, manufacturing facilities, environmental testing facilities, clean rooms and R&D spaces.

The successful candidate must have strong communication skills, be self-motivated and capable of working in a collaborative team environment. The successful candidate shall have experience in and be capable of the following:
  • Familiarity with building automation systems:
    • Niagara Tridium
    • Johnson Controls Metasys
  • Low voltage wiring installation and troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft Windows 11 operating system
  • Communications network protocols
Full-time onsite:

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.

This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Skills and Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Low voltage electrical license 
  • 2 years' experience in relevant field

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Journeyman electrician license
  • Niagara Tridium basic operator qualification
  • Niagara 4 certification
  • 4 years' experience in relevant field.

Typical Education and Experience

Typically a High School Diploma and 3 years work experience or equivalent experience
