We are seeking a highly skilled BIM (Building Information Modeling) Designer to join our team. The BIM Designer will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating detailed 3D models and digital representations of building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, along with proficiency in BIM software. This position is an in-person on site located in Boise, Idaho.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure design consistency and accuracy.

  • Coordinate clash detection and resolve conflicts within the BIM model.

  • Assist in creating construction documentation and shop drawings from BIM models.

  • Ensure adherence to project standards, codes, and best practices.

  • Update and manage BIM project files and databases.

  • Support project teams during design development, construction, and renovation phases.

  • Provide BIM-related technical support and training to team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a BIM Designer or similar role.

  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Dynamo, etc.

  • Strong understanding of building systems and construction processes.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

  • Possess the necessary English language skills, both verbally and in writing, to effectively perform the responsibilities of the position.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with project collaboration platforms like BIM 360 or Navisworks Manage.

  • Knowledge of coding or scripting for automation (e.g., Dynamo, Python).

  • Familiarity with sustainable design principles and LEED standards.
