Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse / Shipping Manager to lead daily warehouse and logistics operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a proven supervisor or manager who enjoys owning processes, leading teams, and ensuring operational excellence from receiving through final shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage warehouse staff (6) and shipping coordinators (3), setting daily priorities and performance expectations
• Oversee end-to-end shipping operations, including UPS, LTL, and FTL shipments
• Ensure accuracy of all orders by verifying products, quantities, skid counts, and documentation prior to shipment
• Partner with Shipping Coordinators to prepare BOLs, labels, packing lists, and required shipping paperwork
• Direct safe and efficient loading/unloading using forklifts and reach trucks
• Oversee receiving, inventory organization, and stock accuracy to support efficient picking and control
• Manage returned goods from receipt through disposition (restock or scrap) and credit memo completion
• Maintain warehouse standards for organization, safety, packaging quality, and damage prevention

Operational & Administrative Leadership

• Maintain equipment maintenance schedules, including forklifts and batteries
• Ensure forklift certifications and training records are current (in coordination with HR)
• Track warehouse supplies and coordinate replenishment with Purchasing
• Ensure documentation accuracy, compliance, and proper filing

Qualifications

• Demonstrated supervisory or management experience in warehouse/shipping operations
• Manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficient with shipping systems, data entry, and BOL documentation
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Forklift experience required
