Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically skilled Bilingual Machine Operator/Supervisor to oversee machine operations and support production on our 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and make minor adjustments to keep production running efficiently.

The successful candidate must be fluent in both English and Spanish and comfortable communicating with employees, supervisors, and management in both languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and oversee production machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues with machinery and equipment.

• Perform minor machine adjustments and basic repairs when necessary.

• Identify equipment problems and determine when additional maintenance or technical support is required.

• Monitor production quality, machine performance, and workflow.

• Provide direction and support to machine operators on the 2nd shift.

• Communicate production needs, equipment issues, and employee concerns to management.

• Train and assist employees with proper machine operation and safety procedures.

• Ensure employees follow company policies, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures.

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.

• Complete required production, quality, and maintenance documentation.

• Communicate effectively with both English- and Spanish-speaking employees.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish – required.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.

• Previous experience operating manufacturing or production machinery.

• Ability to make minor machine adjustments and resolve basic mechanical issues.

• Previous leadership, lead operator, or supervisory experience preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
