BF Goodrich Manufacturing Shift Supervisor (rotating)

MISSION : The Manufacturing Supervisor’s mission is to guarantee and drive the team’s performance in order for the crew to reach the objectives defined by the site plan. You will be the front line supervisor, interacting with your team of production operators day-to-day, and developing the autonomy, professionalism and well-being of the people on your team. Initial training will include formal classes and on-the-job mentoring.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and follow up on all shift activities; supervise personnel; control process operations in accordance with quality referentials; guarantee plant policies, safety standards, operating procedures and quality objectives.
• Initiate emergency response, if needed, to minimize potential exposure of personnel and damage to equipment and facilities
• Assist in meeting the target and objectives of your areas of responsibility.
• Implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Drive continuous improvement in the crew in line with plans, the Michelin approach and respecting current rules, standards and imperatives.
• Guide continuity of performance of the crew over time.
