Position: Jamb Cell Operator
Shift: 1st shift, M-F 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Anchor Fabrication, LLC, a precision metal fabrication company is seeking a 1st shift Jamb Cell Operator.
The operator is responsible for performing all functions of sawing, bending, welding and milling metal pieces while ensuring safety, quality and productivity. The operator is responsible for setting up the job which includes reviewing the job packet, setting angles and stops, exchanging dies and adjusting tension in order to operate the saw, bending, welding and mill machines followed by inspecting for conformance to specification. The operator must troubleshoot and make adjustments when necessary or seeks consultation from supervisor and/or quality control.

Good communication skills
Computer literate
Able to read all precision measuring instruments
Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings, sheet metal drawings, customer drawings, diagrams, weld symbols and other instructional materials proficiently
Positive, willingness to learn and participate in a changing environment to reach a common goal
Knowledge of shop practices and operations
Understand Metal hardness factors (First in First out Material rotation)
Must be flexible to work in other areas
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Working in a metal forming environment
