Job Description:

To be considered, you must have previous experience in the use of inspection tools such as micrometer’s, digital snap gages, dial bores, indicators, and have proficient math skills, etc. Must be familiar with and able to read and understand relevant technical data such as clean, inspect and repair manuals, component maintenance manuals, etc. Have the ability to evaluate visual items using the applicable and appropriate technical data. 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Bench, In process, and pre-coat inspections
  • Perform variety of duties and inspect incoming components.
  • Visually inspect materials for general appearance, surface defects, workmanship and hidden damage. Perform preliminary visual inspection to determine extent of repairs required as well as customer requirements listed on the purchase order.
  • Check for part certification and ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.
  • Bench checks using measurements and visual aids.
  • Complete and maintain visual and dimensional record documents
  • Receive parts from customers or vendors
  • Perform functions that will support final inspection
  • Previous knowledge of FAR Part 145 is important and experience using PW, CFM and GE engine manuals highly desired.
  • Work closely with Final Inspectors



Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma
