Reporting to our Senior Director of Behavioral Science, New Platforms and Acquisitions, you will play an important role in influencing the future of Conagra with rigorous, forward-looking insights that drive growth. You will lead consumer insights work to uncover opportunities for Conagra to grow through incremental categories, channels, audiences, and occasions, partnering with a small, agile cross-functional team to accelerate innovation from concept to market. You will serve as a strategic thought partner, translating consumer behavior insights into actionable recommendations that guide business decisions, innovation strategies, and growth investments.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Establish yourself as a key strategic partner and consumer behavior thought leader, earning a seat at the table to influence decision-making for the New Platforms & Acquisitions team.
- Synthesize insights from point-of-sale data, syndicated behavioral research, social listening, and other sources to identify opportunities for growth in adjacent categories and emerging spaces.
- Deeply assess prioritized opportunity areas to define innovation criteria, including eating attributes, flavors, preparation methods, claims, and price points that inform product development briefs.
Develop insights that support new brand creation, positioning, and package design by leveraging learnings from adjacent categories, foodservice, and at-home consumption behaviors.
- Build a strong understanding of consumer behavior across emerging and incremental channels, including Club, Value, Specialty, and E-commerce, to inform channel strategies and go-to-market plans.
- Present insights, recommendations, and growth opportunities to senior leaders to secure alignment on priorities, investments, and project direction.
- Support sales materials, annual operating plans, and strategic business planning efforts as a consumer insights expert and business partner.
Partner across functions to pilot technology and AI-enabled approaches that improve the breadth, depth, and speed of insights generation.

Compensation
Pay Range:$109,000-$159,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
