General Labor / Batch Maker

Pay: $16.50/hour

Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable and motivated individuals for a General Labor/Batch Maker position in Fraser, MI. This is a long-term opportunity with a growing manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, following recipes or batch instructions, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Measure, weigh, and mix raw materials according to production specifications.
• Prepare and complete production batches accurately.
• Load materials into mixers, blenders, or processing equipment.
• Monitor the mixing process and ensure product quality.
• Label, package, and stage finished products for shipment or the next production process.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas between batches.
• Follow all safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), if applicable.
• Assist with general warehouse and production duties as assigned.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or batch-making experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work throughout an entire shift.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
