Batch Maker / Manufacturing Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Batch Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably with chemical exposure, and possess strong mathematical, weighing, and measuring skills. This role is responsible for accurately preparing batches according to formulas, documenting production activities, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix production batches according to established formulas and recipes.
• Accurately weigh, measure, and verify raw materials before processing.
• Follow written batch records, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures.
• Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor batch quality and report any discrepancies or issues.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Lift and move materials, containers, and products weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience; chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience following recipes, formulas, or batch instructions.
• Strong math skills, including weighing, measuring, and calculating quantities.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation abilities.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
