As an Avionics Technician II, you will be using your skills and expertise to repair and maintain electronic systems involved with the operation of an aircraft. You'll be responsible for basic installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing our aircraft avionics and electrical system components and keeping our aircraft in airworthy condition under minimal supervision.

The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber. Must-haves:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Ability to understand applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings
• Basic skills with avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, and wiring installation
• Experience with soldering and crimping techniques

Preferred:

• Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROL
• Basic understanding of spectrometer, oscilloscope. and/or itot static equipment
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
